Remember 27 days ago I subscribed to a biweekly coffee subscription, it finally arrived!! Arrived in a small box, nice little packaging with a small card that details where the bean came from and the story behind one of the farmers within that farm.

The beans I received from the mail was from Santa Isabel, with flavours cranberry, jasmine, and rosemary. Unfortunately the beans were roasted on March 4, 2016 which is way past it’s fresh date. I also looked at the back of the packaging which appears to be tampered with, the hole which releases carbon is not supposed to be this big so it can also help with saving it’s freshness. Because the hole no longer only a one way stream, it’s a two way airway so the aroma of the beans are no longer protected.

I am still excited to try this bean to see whether…
